“Really a great place for families, so many thoughtful amenities for young kids as well as adults, chairs, bogie boards, snorkeling. The place was big enough for our 11 members to eat together and big enough to have time apart, deck, lanai, pool. It was very memorable and we have created family memories to last a lifetime!”

“The home was well stocked with everything we needed. The accessories for pool use and beach were exceptional. Evan welcomed us and explained the homes do and don’ts very well. My family felt right at home and our family reunion was a total success and very relaxing. The kids had plenty to do with games, foosball, and musical instruments for a concert from the grandkids. If you like having all you might need to enjoy trips to the beach you’ve found your home away from home. Once Evan shows you the lay of the land I doubt you’ll have questions but if you do help is only a text or call away. I can’t help but think Ning enjoys knowing whoever stays in her home is having a grand time and strives to be sure that happens!”

“This was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Usually, Airbnbs are the same ordeal: a dispassionate lockbox, the same laminated rules, the same host I never actually meet. Then there was Ning. It felt like being taken care of by family. As one of my friends put it, "it's giving mom vibes." We came over Memorial Day weekend, when the rental cars were sold out, and she offered to drive us to the airport herself and around town. One afternoon, she came over with fresh eggs from her neighbor's chickens. We met her family and heard her story, and she listened, with real care, to ours. She fussed over us the way you only fuss over your own. Somewhere in there, a stranger turned into kin. And yes, the house was beautiful. But it is the least of what I will remember. If we are ever back in Kauai, we will hit up Ning again. Not just as an excellent host, but as a friend.”

“I honestly can’t say enough about Ning, her family, or this beautiful home. The house is gorgeous, with an amazing floor plan, pool, bungalow, and literally everything you could need for the beach—fins, swim shoes, beach gear and more. What really made our stay unforgettable was Ning. We were on Kauai during a hurricane and widespread power outages and ended up in a very difficult situation. At one point, we honestly thought our family might have to sleep in our car. Ning went above and beyond, bringing us lights and candles, checking on us, bringing gifts for our granddaughter, and doing everything she could to help. When the power remained out, she found another property with power and AC and personally helped move our family there. Her husband and daughter even helped us get settled. The house is amazing, but Ning and her family are what make it truly special. When we return to Kauai, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Ning!”

“We brought our family here to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We had saved for five years & had many hopes & dreams for the memories we would make with our loved ones. This home was the foundation of all those plans, and fulfilled its role perfectly. We had 5 adults and 4 children. The beds were very comfortable, showers great with plenty of pressure. The rooms were beautifully appointed with the island feel, but not cluttered. Everything a guest might want was provided. The kitchen was spacious with drawers labeled so things were easy to find. Evan, house mgr, greeted us & checked us out on everything including the induction heating stovetop. Spice cabinet was well stocked. Laundry facilities were convenient in the garage. All the necessities were there for a short wagon pull to the beach. Our grandsons also spent hours in the pool while the adults visited on the overlooking deck. Bird of Paradise home couldn’t have been more perfect, nor its hosts & mgr more gracious. Grateful us.”
