We are a family-run vacation rental company based in Poipu, Kauai, created from a genuine love of this island and a desire to share its beauty with families and travelers from around the world. Our vacation homes are more than investment properties to us. They are places where our family has created memories, experienced the beauty and power of Kauai, and welcomed guests who have come to the island to celebrate, reconnect, relax, and enjoy time together.
Birds of Paradise is a unique Poipu, Kauai vacation home perched on a volcanic crater rim, offering breathtaking 270° panoramic ocean, mountain, and crater views. This spacious retreat features more than 5,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor living, classic Hawaiian indoor-outdoor design, a private heated saltwater pool, air conditioning throughout, and expansive lanai spaces made for relaxing and taking in the scenery. With four bedrooms, room for up to 12 guests, a private bungalow suite, and easy access to Poipu Beach, Brennecke’s Beach, and Shipwreck Beach, Birds of Paradise combines elegant island comfort with an unforgettable Kauai setting.

I honestly can’t say enough about Ning, her family, or this beautiful home. The house is gorgeous, with an amazing floor plan, pool, bungalow, and literally everything you could need for the beach—fins, swim shoes, beach gear and more. What really made our stay unforgettable was Ning. We were on Kauai during a hurricane and widespread power outages and ended up in a very difficult situation. At one point, we honestly thought our family might have to sleep in our car. Ning went above and beyond, bringing us lights and candles, checking on us, bringing gifts for our granddaughter, and doing everything she could to help. When the power remained out, she found another property with power and AC and personally helped move our family there. Her husband and daughter even helped us get settled. The house is amazing, but Ning and her family are what make it truly special. When we return to Kauai, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Ning!

We brought our family here to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We had saved for five years & had many hopes & dreams for the memories we would make with our loved ones. This home was the foundation of all those plans, and fulfilled its role perfectly. We had 5 adults and 4 children. The beds were very comfortable, showers great with plenty of pressure. The rooms were beautifully appointed with the island feel, but not cluttered. Everything a guest might want was provided. The kitchen was spacious with drawers labeled so things were easy to find. Evan, house mgr, greeted us & checked us out on everything including the induction heating stovetop. Spice cabinet was well stocked. Laundry facilities were convenient in the garage. All the necessities were there for a short wagon pull to the beach. Our grandsons also spent hours in the pool while the adults visited on the overlooking deck. Bird of Paradise home couldn’t have been more perfect, nor its hosts & mgr more gracious. Grateful us.

The home was perfect for our family. Ning and Evan were extremely responsive. The pool was clutch for our baby. Would definitely stay here again.
